WHAT IS PHYSIOTHERAPY
Physiotherapy focuses on manual therapy, exercise and physical activity, and health education. Our physiotherapists are hands-on and client-centered. They combine the best evidence, high quality therapy, and your goals to come up with a comprehensive treatment plan that progresses with you.
Strada Health & Fitness offers physiotherapy services to help you on your road to recovery. Physiotherapists are primary health care professionals with a significant role in health promotion and treatment of injury and disease. They combine their in-depth knowledge of the body and how it works with specialized hands-on clinical skills to assess, diagnose and treat symptoms of illness, injury or disability (Canadian Physiotherapy Association, 2012).
WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT STRADA FOR PHYSIOTHERAPY
Assessments are typically 60 minutes and are one-on-one with our physiotherapist. Follow-up appointments are typically 30 minutes and are again, one-on-one with our physiotherapist. We provide more time with our therapist than your average clinic because we believe you deserve the best possible treatment to get the best possible results.
You can expect a detailed assessment of your problem area(s) and a comprehensive treatment plan to address it. You will be sent home with a handout of your program so that it is easy to remember and follow along.
