Elizabeth believes that movement is medicine and enjoys working with patients who are looking to be active participants in their recovery.
Outside of Strada, Elizabeth spends her time working as a Teaching Assistant and guest lecturer at the Dalhousie School of Physiotherapy and Dalhousie School of Health and Human Performance. Her passion for teaching led her to earn a Master of Education from Acadia University which enables her to combine her dedication to both clinical practice and education.
In addition to musculoskeletal injuries, Elizabeth has a keen interest in concussion management and has pursued postgraduate education to become a Certified Complete Concussion Management Provider. She is trained in baseline testing, assessment/management of acute concussion, and assessment/management of persistent concussion symptoms. Elizabeth is trained and licensed in Anatomical Acupuncture and holds certificates in Level 1 and 2 from Acupuncture Canada. Elizabeth is also certified in neuro-proprioceptive taping.
